Good evening all , this is my first post on the site, been watching from the background trying to learn a bit. Came across from RRSPORT.COM having had one which I sold a while back, now looking to replace and I really like the D4. One question I have which I have tried to search the site for an answer is can you specify dark roof lining in the car ?? May sound silly but we looked at a stunning 2012 HSE on Wednesday which was Fuji white with black leather etc but the roof lining was light coloured which imo took the edge off it a little, a small gripe yes but when your spending the thick end of 50k I just wondered if you could infact specify dark to compliment the dark leather etc ?
Many thanks in advance to anyone that can answer

Don't think you can....no. Cream headlining standard across the Discovery range....as far as I know.
But I am sure if the right money was paid, a darker headlining could be fitted........ 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
2019 Discovery 5 HSE

Thanks for the reply APL, i thought that may be the case. It's not a really big issue i had just thought that it would compliment the dark leather etc slightly more, it wouldn't make me not buy the car, which was a stunning example.
Thanks again

As a Fuji owner I'd be interested to see what that looked like. It's a huge area of roof in these cars, so probably a little dark, especially in the back? Like the idea though - wonder if it can be sprayed?

Hi crews control, to be honest I wasn't sure about Fuji, I thought the car would be too big to carry the white but it was stunning so it's definitely the colour for me, just to decide whether it's this particular one or not. This was a four month old HSE with 4k and has everything but the kitchen sink, literally ! I think the salesman realised he had baffled me with the toys lol !

Hi peely, it was an eight speed box. It had the rotary selector from the jaguar xf which I thought was quite a nice touch.

Wish there was a dark head lining option. Mine gets sprayed every time the mutts get in a shake.

D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all

That's good to know as I have one arriving in a few weeks time and 4 Labs to get in and out of the back of it, wet through, muddy and dribbling .............. should look nice ?!!
At least the Hatchbag should take care on the bottom bits !

This is partly my reason too, i don't want to worry about the dog shaking off after a walk and covering the thing.
