16 in wheels

Hi all

just reading LRO this month and it says that 16in wheels fit the disco 3, i believe this may be a miss print but as some 18 will fit on a disco 4 it may be true, can anyone confirm ? if so what size tyre fit with what types of wheels

yes, I saw that. Although I believe some one has fitted 16 inch rims to a D3 it is not practical.
I think that text should read 17 inch, that is certainly what's I told Neil from LRO when we did the photo session at Avon Dasset. The bottom 3 pix of the wheel , the dash bosrd & the tank guard are of my D3.

i thought so as with 17 inch on mine it looks v close to the front brakes so was interested to see how a 16 would go on

also 16 inch wheels and tyres are cheaper and there is so much better choice then any of the 17s to 20 on the disco
