I towed the tin tent on friday to test it out for the weekend but so far towing it was the most exciting for me. wow it was like a dream so much different to d2. when i went over uneven roads instead of giving me the normal push and pull feeling it wss so gentle and soft. cant wait to go home now so i can get towing

Yep, the best bit about caravanning with a D3 is the towing itself

We've had the truck since November but I haven't even plugged the detachable towball in yet !
I've been waiting for and now recovering from a minor operation, and can't wait to get fit enough to take out our tintent. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand

Towed the twin axle back from york on friday 250 miles of effortless towing other than the overtaking coaches creating an air draw as they passed it was faultless and as its a 2 tonne van averaging 24/25 mpg is very impressive i think .i got home feeling relaxed which aft 5 + hrs is a testiment to the disco ride power and comfort MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

Was in North Wales for the bank holiday weekend. Very windy on the trip down but the D3 didn't miss a beat. The best tow car by far.
Not long now till off to The Lakes. Can't wait.
