I stayed at Peebles on a camp site with electric hook up !
It was in the spring and the views were fantastic, the site itself was elevated on terraced sections, it was good and Peebles has some pretty good fascilities.
Sorry cant be any more specific, but let me know if you find it ? Only dead fish go with the Flow !

You could try Templehall www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=8852 ...its a Certified location......which I think means Caravan Club members only ?
I can vouch for the peace and quiet (it only takes 5 caravans or motorhomes) and stunning views as I pass it daily.....
It has all the facilities you specified....and is 5 minutes from stunning coastline, and the beautiful fishing village of St Abbs...... "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Best of british site, brigghouse bay near kirkudbright. 200m through forest to beautiful beach. Pick your own mussels off the rocks for lunch. Top site with small pool, golf course, horseriding, lovely villages nearby
Spent 10 days there, with kids wife and dog. Really good. ....................................................................................................

Give "Lidalia" in the village of Newcastleton a go! Ive been going there for years as have many others. Its a Caravan Club site run by the owner (Eddie) and its a real taste of the borders.
There is some good grub at the Grapes.
You'll be a hard man to please if you dont like this place!
