If your putting a Range Rover ecu in and stuff then if proberly would work try and get a loom with the wiring already in place for itDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

I actually did fit this equipment to my D3 a few years ago, I was testing it for BBS, Colin sent me all the parts including the main loom, I had to make up some small looms to get it to connect up to the D3 .
I got it all working and powered on, but no matter what we tried we could not get it to calibrate to the car.
You have to do this step first as it wont go any further in to the setup without this step.
I tried for a few months on and off to get it to work and it seems its very critical where the front scanner is placed, on the D3 you cant place the radar scanner in the same place as on the RR .
In the end I removed all the ecus and looms and ended up posting it all back to BBS and I never heard anything more about it, I think the project was abandoned by BBS.
I don't think there has been anybody who has fit it to a D3 and got it working, but I maybe wrong..

Gap told me that there is no calibration data in the bcm as was never a option on the d3-4 so it can not calibrate no matter what you tryDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

BCM is the same between D3/RRS, so perhaps some fancy firmware is required...My D3 Build Thread

Bcm is the same yea but filmware isn’t and they said that there nothing they could do to implement it and make it work hence why no one ever managed to get it to calibrate I spent a long time with them on this and that was the outcomeDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

I think the problem is that gap / black box have never actually seen a D4 with it on ..so they can’t actually see what the settings should be
Here’s 2 pics from Jason’s car
Adaptive in use. First image is it can sense a car that it's following then the 2nd is when it can't sense anything - clear road

I wrote an email to Gap to find out if this calibration function exists for the D3
he replied that for the moment no, but having had this request from another user, perhaps he will add this function.
if it really will added this function I think it is possible a retrofit on D3
does anyone know how to connect the wires from the ECU to the car?
