Probably been asked a million times before but is it safe/ok to use different tyres on the same axle?
Away from home just now and unsure of the tread depth on the other tyres
Asking the the Wife got a burst and had to order a new tyre
Thanks

you can run different tyres of the same size and construction but most would not recomend it
how worn is the other tyre (tyre fiter will be able to mesure for you) on the same axle maybe worth getting a pair if its quite well down a good excuse to get halfway to the tyres you have had your eye on a while or post a wanted on here for the same make part worn to finish the other tyre off plenty of folk have been changing to all terains and had some good tyres left

Not far and not fast would be my rule - even LR hand out a pathetic profit-saver - sorry space-saver (where there is oodles of space) - wheel for occasional use.
Diffs and driving style suffer(s) until equality is restored... 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

sort of connected, i've just collected my new D3 and it had to have 2 new tyres for the MOT. The dealer put Toyos on but it leaves me with 2 Hankook on the rear.
Q- do I get the Hankooks changed to have 4 matching tyres or is this just my OCD kicking in big time?
