OK, thought I read somewhere that they run softer but I must have imagined it

As per advise given a while back on here from AJS Tyres, they should be run at about 3 psi MORE than the standard pressure. That is what I run mine at with no problems.

I run mine at standard pressure with no issues or adverse effects on handling, braking or off road ability. What is the justification for running them higher?

Go down in pressure a little in wintertime and up a little during summer.

Its down to they way they are constructed. Andy from AJS Tyres would be able to give a more detailed answer, but it was his recommendation on this forum that they be run 3psi higher than normal. I have stuck to that recommendation with no issues at all.

Standard pressure is fine for most, there have been a few users concerned over higher fuel consumption so you can help this by running higher pressures which is up to the end users, (have one bod on +6psi) he does have a trailer on most times.

Users running higher pressure are getting better mileage and MPG, changed a set the other day at 41,000, not bad but we have seen a tad better but this will depend on your use, driving style and usage will have a factor.

New AT looks very good as well with 30,000 upwards looking good for some. Thumbs Up
