Wheel balancing query
I have just bought some MY rims fitted with new Continental tyres. There are several unsightly stick-on weights on 2 of the wheels that are visible from the outside of the wheel. My 2 queries are:
1 If I take these to a reputable fitter, is it possible they could they be re-balanced with different weights so they look better?
Or
2 If I have these tyres transferred to my existing HSE wheels, is it likely they may need an unsightly amount of weights too?
Thanks in advance for any help - I'm always amazed how helpful everybody is on here!

They should be able to do inside balance to do away with the unsightly looks or as ken says pull them off may not make a difference.although may contribute to very slight tyre wear
You'd be very lucky not to have some weight on a rim to make it balanced.
Having it not balanced will make the rim resonate at one or more speeds - it will make driving both uncomfortable and wear the tyres out, shocks out and loads of suspension bushes.
Mine are all balanced with weights on the inside. Mark.

From what Neil is saying they are balanced on the inside however he can see them through the spokes
You can balance behind the spokes with the right machine but the car is hardly pretty in the first place

Yes Ken there are lots of weights - even 2 layers in one place, right between the spokes!

Take it to a tyre shop ask them to rotate the tyre by 180 deg then re balance
