About to order a D4- alloys??
hello people,
firstly I'll say this forum is an amazing help! I have learnt so much and after much deliberation I'm taking the plunge and ordering a MY12 Disco 4 HSE, any thoughts on the diamond turned 20" alloys as opposed to the black gloss or 10 spoke? I have seen the black gloss ones but not the diamond turned... in the brochure the difference appears to be the centre area not being black???
Going for orkney grey, 20 inch upgraded alloy... undecided which, privacy glass, full size spare, side steps, mud flaps for definitve. Can't decide on other extras!!! Any tips would be much appreciated!!

Side steps can be retro fitted and much cheaper by yourself. Privacy Yes, full size spare, depends on how many miles you do, mine came with skinney spare but I have a full size one to go on it. Heated steering wheel, tow bar might be good for future use.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Even the HSE doesn't have carpet mats and I would also recommend rubber mats on top.MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand

Thanks for the advice, confirmed order 10 days ago.
As I'm taking over the dealers order any changes would have delayed delivery.... Due january! Confirmed Orkney, privacy, 20 inch 10 spoke, and full size spare, yet are doing the steps and flaps at cost price. They called me 2 days ater to say remote park heating was on the original order and they hadn't taken it off... So that's a freebie!!
Cannot wait now. At least it's not 3-4 months though! Even have a freelander to use until then!!
