The right hand 2nd row heated seat on my MY05 HSE is not working.
I checked the 25A fuses and one had blown. Swopped the fuse over from the front seat heating circuit and the left 2nd row seat heats up but not the right hand one.
I am guessing that it is the heater mat in the seat but not sure. Looking at the wiring diagram it shows there are 3 heaters in each seat v On the working seat I can feel heat in the squab and the back rest but not the "side heater" wherever that may be.
What I don't understand is that both heater mats could fail at the same time. I have swapped over the control modules and they both work so I can only think it must be two separate heater mats (may be 3) have failed.
I have only owned the vehicle since May this year so perhaps they have failed at different times before I owned it but all on one seat seems strange.
Any info anybody got that might help before I buy two heaters and spend a long time stripping a seat down
Any body know if I can measure the resistance between two pins on the plugs under the seat to see if the heaters have gone?
