just been told today by 2 tyre suppliers one in wales and glos
mid march due to new rubber compond to do with noise abaitment
bit late for the winter good move by goodyear !!!

Is there any chance these tyres might appear?
I don't know if you'd be prepared to split them if they did appear, but Paganuk is looking for 1, and i've just posted a wanted ad for 2 (before i found this thread and realised that i was asking for the proverbial hens teeth!)
And a general thought/question - If/when the new version appears, will they be compatable with the old ones? E.g. - could you run a mix of old and new tyres, or would the different compound of the new tyre effect the balance/handling?Tim

I remember the good old days when GY paved the streets with MTRs and they were easily available. Sadly all of these were sold off a year ago but the room still smells of fresh tyre rubber.
