Fuel Filter - which One??

Hi there, I'm due to change the fuel filter on my '05 plate TDV6, I know there is a difference between early and later models but which MAKE should I get as the pricing varies dramatically

Delphi? Bearmach? Britpart? dealer? Whats the consensus on here?

I got one quite recently from duckworth parts (on here) genuine LR filter incl mounting bracket, Â£35 delivered if the offer is still on. Great service.

For something like a fuel filter, Genuine Parts every time. Wasn't there a thread about this a while back when there were some problems experienced after fitting an aftermarket filter.

2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Arctic Frost

The 'only' aftermarket one I would consider is Delphi (which is who makes the OEM one) the only diference apart from cost is it says 'Delphi' instead of 'Landrover' on the box and canister

Hi

I spoke to 4-tech when ordering a service kit and said about my concerns regarding a non oem fuel filter and I was told they had a few problems with the later 07 onwards filtre but never on the older type. I took this advice and fitted a bearmach filter and haven't had any problems.

On another topic just contacted Stratstones in Cupar and Perth who claim to know nothing of the Two Belt 105K change offer at Â£399

Cupar quoted Â£499

and I'm still waiting to hear back from Perth

How unusual, a LR dealer not knowing exactly what it and it's fellow dealers are doing regarding servicing costs - I'm so surprised (NOT)
