New Front Bumper GS
HI All, I know this topic has been well covered, but I have a couple of extra questions... I damaged my original bumper (GS with no spots, PDC or headlamp wash). I bought a new bumper off ebay that needs pdc and headlamp wash and have had this sprayed. I bought an old HSE bumper with the parts...
Q1 - The old HSE bumper has been cut off the car with wire cutters, so I don't have the connector block for the PDC. I can either splice in the wires (with extensions) or find a badly damaged HSE that I can just get the wire and connector block. Can anyone help?
Q2- likewise with the headlamp washers, I can easily get some more plastic pipe, but what feeds them? Does it connect to the std screen wash or is there a separate reservoir and pump that I would need to get?
Q3 - does anyone have a pic of the D3 without the bumper cover? I think I might have minor damage behind and wanted to understand what's underneath before I take the car off the road?
My wife wants me to sort it this weekend, so any answers much appreciated .
cheers
Sam

I am replacing mine this weekend (hopefully) for the first 2 points
I brought a new front number wiring loom from TLO, I had a fog light one, but not the pdc one, so I got a combined one (£40)
For the hose, I also brought a new one from TLO, (£10) but if its been cut off at the water bottle side, then you may not have the pump in the bottle, so thats needed, then you prob can just extend that. you can use existing bottle, just drill fir grommet and a additional pump.
Don't have a photo yet, but prob will have one over the weekend when I remove the existing one and put the new one on.
(Still need to spray my middle pdc sensors as they are in grey primer at present.

Woody and Race.IT, many thanks for your replies. That answers it for me. Yes the washer pipe is cut off with no pump, though I might not worry about connecting that up. What drives the headlamp washer? Does it come on with the windscreen washer or is there another switch required inside.
I'd like to get hold of a connector block. Who/where can I contact TLO for this?
thanks again

TLO is nick from yovil landrover parts dept, don't think u can just get connector but u can just buy pdc loom.
From what I hope the feed for the new pump is there already, and it's just plug in. It comes on with every x windscreen washes, may need to be enabled via a fault mate (some people have them on here and can help)
The connector for the pdc and front fogs is on the drivers side below headlamp.

As race.it says the 2 connectors are on the drivers side just above the cross member as can be seen in my pic above above above(click to enlarge).Note the top connector in mine has a blanking plug in it which is for front pdc that i don't have, bottom connector is for fogs.

Thanks John and Darrell, will get on the phone tomorrow about the wiring. So it sounds like I also need another pump too.
Thanks again for pics and help. I'll let you know how I get on

Called Nick from TLO, was really helpful and a pleasure to deal with, so thanks for that. Parts on order and should be with me in a week or so.

All done, well almost...
TLO got me the parts, delivered yesterday. All fitted today, and a success (I think) . I cut the hole in the washer bottle with an 18mm bit. I needed a rubber washer where it joins, and used a rubber grommet from a 13amp back box. Seems a perfect and tight fit. Only time will tell if it leaks .
Power/connections were all in place just like you said (good old Landrover) for the pump and PDC. Now just need to find someone with a fault mate who can put my pdc online. I'm in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, is anyone in the area who can help? More than happy to pay my way, either cash or beer, whichever is best!
Thanks guys for all your help. Primary objective reached, the D3 looks perfect again and Mrs R is very happy .
