Help needed to pick new tyres in Edinburgh area

Hi
When I got the car (D3) it had Goodyear Wranglers HP all weather tyres on it. 255/60/R18/V/112. They now need replaced. Since I have had the car they have in my opnion been good ie quiet, good in wet etc. I have now read so many tyre reviews that I am getting fed up.

Do I stick with these or go for something else. I am replacing all 4 so it seems a good opportunity if I am going something different. 95% of my driving is on main roads withe the rest being grass ie nothing too taxing. But being in Scotland there is a reasonable chance of snow.

What options would you suggest?

Secondly I need the tyres fitted before this weekend, so I am also looking for somewhere in the Edinburgh / West Lothian area. Again any suggestions?

Thanks

I ..like you inherited Goodyears when i got my D3.

Am now on my 3rd set having decided to stick with them !!
They were pretty good in the bad snow last year for a road bias tyre, but do gt a bit iffy when well worn. Whistle

I have looked at swapping to scorpions, but couldn't see much difference TBH.

I read v. good reports on the new Grabbr AT & would have probably given them a try if I was going to change..

Sure you will get plenty of views on here !! Laughing
 Cheers Ian

Pirelli ATRs for sure, get them ordered from Camskill today and they will be here ready for fitting.

Or if you want General Grabbers then try Jim at Strathearn tyres in Crieff he has them. A set of 18" for £625 inc VAT
