Anyone know how you can store up to 10cds on the latest audio system?
Nothing seems to jump out at me for recording yet it is meant to do it.

There's usually a separate booklet for the audio systems, often accidentally left out by dealers......... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Thanks, but it seems that I do not have a MY12 handbook.
2010 is the date on mine!!
Looks like a visit to the dealer if MY12 books are available.

I have a My 12 XS and according to the brochure I should have a 'touch screen hard disc drive navigation system (which I have) with lossless digital data storage for up to 10 cds (which seems to be lost) and a DVD player (which I have).
I also have 'voice command' '4x4 info' and 'off road navigation'.
Based on that I would say that I have the latest system that should incorporate the cd recording.
None of this was ordered as 'extras' so I am assuming all MY12 XS models have this
What have others got??

The entire 2012MY handbook is available on Topix right now - and I have placed a PDF version of the CD chapter into my Gallery for you........!
Hope this helps! Sadly the downloadable Handbook on Topix is split up into several different sections - you can in theory get the whole thing but it will take a while! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Push audio/video, then Press My Music+, and then press Stored Cd's. You will then have an upload button on the right which will be highlighted if there is a CD loaded. Once you push the upload button you will be asked which of the 10 slots you want it loaded into.

...but does it eat music CDs only, and not MP3s? |
|
I received my Discovery 4 last week. Naturally I started the learning process from the audio equipment. I followed this thread to learn whether I can upload a MP3 CD or just normal audio discs. I did not succeed in loading a MP3 collection into the hard drive of the vehicle. Could someone tell me if the uploading is possible for audio CDs only.

I haven't tried mp3 CDs. I just leave an iPod connected to one of the usb ports as my main source of music. The 10 stored CD slots is not really sufficient to keep everyone happy (music wise).
