Enable TV Input
My RRS has got an aftermarket Alpine TUE-T150DV TV tuner fitted, which is controlled by a little remote and was selected by pressing the TV button on the nav screen.
Unfortunately the TV button has greyed out now, after a recent trip to the local independant for a new inlet manifold. Ive tried various options in the car config using my iid tool, but cant find the correct combination of settings to un-grey the button so I can press it again. How do I enable the button so I can view the TV again? I have tested the input via the hidden menu and its working ok.
Currently it looks like this:

What settings do you currently have in the CCF? Although, I suspect something may have been unplugged.
It must be a power supply issue, because if it was not connected the MOST would complain and you would not see it in the diag screen.

I assume the MOST is the fibre optic data connection? If so I don't think it's connected to that, just the tv input on the back of the head unit. Power issues wouldn't surprise me, but the tuner is working fine, I just can't select it.
I'll look at the config tomorrow.2008 TDV8 Sport HSE

The interface kit that fools the screen in thinking it has factory TV does use a most connector
So check they have not disconnected it / not powered
It's designed to show the tv icon without any CCF editing ..G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
