Strip Covering Roof Rail Attachment Points Blown Off By Wind

One of the strips on the roof covering where the roof rails are attached came off in the high winds yesterday (I live in Scotland). The wind got in at the back while the car was sitting in a car park.

1/ I notice that there is an adhesive pad at the front end but not at the rear is that normal?

2/ Does anyone have an idea as to how much they cost (vehicle does not have roof rails so they are full length)?

3/ Is it possible to get to get short strips for those vehicles that have roof rails and if so how much do they cost?
