Windscreen Wiper Arm Tightening?

Have tried both LR original and other windscreen wipers but all give me that judder noise on the drivers side. It happens when the wiper blade is at the top of its run. Could it be possible that the spring has gone or is not tight enough in the arm or is that not possible?

Drives me mad when it rains which sadly lving in Wales it does a lot. Whistle

Mine does exactly the same, have tried all sorts of wipers (quietest with Valeo's but still not judder free unless it's really wet) and twisting the wiper arm a little either way. I was actually wondering the opposite; thinking it's putting too much pressure on it and needs bending away from the screen a tad - one day when I manage to coincide having the time and remembering to try it I'll do a spot of bending and see if helps

My other plan is to find someone with silent wipers and swap the arms over when they're not looking Whistle
