would not really be for the bling, more for the ease
often got some little children, playing in the car when I'm not in it, this way they can't play with the gear lever anymore
would also put in a little switch, to make it appear when I want

This is an upgrade to the MY12 'standard' knob. Makes it shiny and leathery. Chances of being able to retron-fit to a D3 are probably not great - you'd certainly need a huge amount of extra parts other than just this - which is a cosmetic upgrade only.D4 XS MY12 Galway

seems I'm not the only one who would like this upgrade, together with a flappy paddle system
so...

possibly upgrade from lever to dial controller, as this would make my world a little less worrying when there ae kids in the car, looking too much like me
