evening all
my wifes d3 hse auto has developed a handling problem. i dont drive it very often and whilst it could never be described as sporty its always felt quite stable, until now. At normal a road speeds it feels like its about to oversteer and is noticeably twitchy.
its also wearing its front tyres on the inside edge but that might be unconnected.
its done about 45k miles and has full main dealer history.
any ideas?

You need to get the front end checked out for Ball joints, track control arm bushes, Wheel bearings, Steering arms, track rod ends, steering rack, like wise on the rear for the wheel bearings and bushes.

If this problem came on quickly check nobody has pressed the DSC button as this can make handling very interesting at speed on the road.Had it happen to me a couple of times when trying to press something else.

Aye to that , my son Pressed hdc when travelling , out from a junction , I didn't notice until going over 30 when suddenly ground to screeching halt in traffic , I was surprised to say the least ,
It certainly does work , anyway check your tyres , mine did wander at 4mm bit low . 2008 ,hse, it does what it says .

How low are your tyre treads?
As we and have others have found Scorpions at around 3mm can cause the car to drive horribly, we were starting to think bushes etc but changed tyres and all is fine again.
