My 2006 TDV6 has had intermittant fault for 3 months, when using access mode, as it almost reaches the bottom, it jumps up again to extended mode.
I have put up with it , until this week when the suspension fault warning would come on .
Like so many other posts I have seen, turn the ignition off and on and it will behave for anything from 10 minutes to 2 days.
Went into Landrover specialist , the diagnostics said it was the reservoir valve block, surprise surprise its still the same after replacement.
Mention was made of the loom possibly being at fault, sounds like a very expensive job.
Any idea of what them problem could be ??

Don't want to alarm you but I had my compressor replaced 2 weeks ago due to the same symptoms.....it hasn't done it since.... "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Could it be touching an obstruction as it goes down?
Three weeks ago I rested a battery charger on top a front tyre out of the rain and while away the car adjusted itself touched the charger and immediately went up into extended mode....
