blown engine thread locked.

The thread started by Warren reference his blown engine has been locked. I think this is a little unfair especially on Warren. The thread was hijacked in particular by one individual who not for the first time went over the top with his views and comments. I believe for the good of this forum the thread should not have been locked but instead the individual who was in the opinion of many out of order , he should have been banned for a period of time to make him think twice about his behaviour.

agree - as Warren was looking for help and useable advice now he finds himself in this position - not what he should/might/could have done.

I've PM'd him some info.

It seems to me that the thread was locked to prevent one person from continuing to post inflammatory comments. The mods can't ban people (unfortunately). We all know who did what, and the mods have done what they can to calm the situation - the op is free to post, and hopefully will, on his ongoing situation.

We can only hope other 'annoyances' are resolved..... Evil or Very Mad

Warren seems to be happy with the forum and advice offered. The thread was locked for good reason. If Warren wants it unlocked, then it will be. In the meantime feel free to continue the discussion here.

LOL ... to be fair, we get a fair few 'interesting' posts/characters on board, so all the mods can edit/delete/ban etc Wink

I had to take the heat out at that time ....I don't see how this could possibly be seen as unfair on Warren Smile
