Sunroof drains
I've done a search but can only find references to the D3 and I'm wondering if there were any changes to the sunroof drains for the D4.
Mine is a March 2012 car which I've owned since new.
This morning, delivering my good lady wife to the airport, I had water trickling down the drivers "A" pillar. There was a damp patch on the headlining above the "A" pillar and water coming out of the "Airbag" plastic cover on the "A"pillar trim. Carpets both sides are still dry though.
Looking at the open sunroof from above, there were pools of water on both sides where it wasn't flowing through the drain holes. I've tried poking cable into the drains but it only travels an inch or so until it won't go any further. I'm assuming there's a sharp bend in the pipe.
So, I have two questions. Firstly, are there any pictures of where the drain pipes exit so that I can try a blast of air from the bottom? Secondly, is this treated as a warranty issue by the dealers?
Many thanks in advance for any wisdom that might be forthcoming.

The D4 drains are a better design but from your description it does appear to be a blocked drain. I'm not aware of a sharp bend on the tube near the top, but best not to rod it too hard. Same for compressed air as it can disconnect the line lower down if too much pressure is used.
Yes, this can be fixed under warranty work.
