key transponder coil/key not charging

all, following problems with the remote locking a few months backm, the keys had new batterys installed. one key has now stopped responding having displayed the "low battery message" on the dash for the psdt few weeks. Does anyone have any information on the trasnsponder coil that charges the key when in the ignition as tis appears not to be working....

Transponder coil?

The link below is about all I have in my gallery and or can find re the charging circuit. Page 222 of the pdf shows a transponder coil but I do not believe that is what charges the battery. I think that coil is the one that talks to the key about starting the engine or not. As to a circuit that provides the power to charge the door lock unlock battery in the remote, I cannot find anything that looks likely. It may be there in the other pages, but I just do not know what to look for.

The transponder is powered by a rechargeable battery and is contained within the processor on the PCB, which also controls the remote operation of the Central Locking System (CLS). A separate coil on the PCB is used by the transponder to receive the signals from the transponder coil on the ignition switch. The coil is also used to generate the current required to recharge the battery.
Very Happy
