It's simple in a D4 - it goes into the (removable) shelf in the cubby box and is connected to the audio system by the iPod cable - and everything works through Bluetooth. No need to have an external mount.... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Someone else I know who mounted his iPhone elsewhere found it too distracting, and ended up putting it back into the cubby box. The screen can get too bright, as if there isn't already enough screens and dials to be watching!!!!
But I can see what you are after wanting it where you can see it. However, on the few occasions I have got out of my D4, walked away, locked it, and then a few minutes later realised "oh b*gger I've left my iPhone in the car", at least in the cubby box it is out of the way and hidden..... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I have my 4s screen mounted high level top right hand corner with good visual of incoming calls before I answer via blue tooth of coarse and if when driving at Nght time I am worried about glare I can pull down sun visor which covers it. I find this very handy when using Siri whilst driving as the phone can pick up my voice quiet clearly when dictating text email ect... Gerrymac

Im using the same Proclip mount with a different holder for my iPad. It's a snap to install (literally) and supports the iPad quite nicely. These guys RAM Mounts make some nice mounts & holders as well, I'm using their "Tab-tite" holder attached to the Proclip mount.

Do you have a photo of the iPad install. Looking for something similar but not quite sure how it would work with the tablet space wise etc.

You could always put the back seats down to give more room and lay it on a mattress, anyway why go all the way and risk messing it up, you could just give it a little kiss now and again, but as for wanting pics of other people doing it, and people offering to photograph themselves at it, that's sick!
