Has anyone else had problems with links on this site taking ages to open, every time I cick one, first of all viglink opens up and then 20 - 30 seconds later the actual link I clicked on is displayed

have now blocked it from my pc's (as I do not like tracking software anyway) and links now work a lot faster

I hadn't either, just noticed it pop up in the tab bar when I clicked on a link,then there was a delay before the link worked, now that i have blocked the site all links are working promptly again. I then had a look at www.viglink.com for more info.

The affiliation system is currently undergoing trials, and the data privacy concerns are addressed in the FAQ. The system can be fully opted out of by visiting the link given in the FAQ.

Thanks Martin,
I did look in the FAQ but didn't see the relevant bit unfortunately. I have not opted out of it via their site as I would have to opt out every time I cleared my cookies, so have instead just blocked it at the router for now. I will try it allowing it again but have to say that since blocking it this site has speeded up very noticeably.
