Logic 7 Amplifier / USB Module / Satnav Screen
Just got My12 D4 HSE and noticed that instead of an amplifier under the driver’s seat I now have the TV module. I assume that the Amplifier has been moved to the rear where the TV module used to go. Does anybody know where the Amp has gone? Has anybody given any consideration to updating their Harmon Kardon premium sound system to the Logic 7 system and what it would entail? Is it a case of adding the extra speakers and replacing the amplifier for the Logic 7 amp?
I also noticed that there is no USB module under the passenger’s seat only the Video interface for surround cameras. Anybody know what has happened to the USB module?
Also noticed on a friend’s HSE none of the aerials were connected on the rear side windows although he had DABS. I know that 4 of the aerials are for TV (Which he does not have), one is for DABS and the other is for the diversity antenna.
Does anybody know if the Satnav touch screen is different from the MY10 to the MY12? Even better does anybody have a picture of the back of the Satnav screen on a MY12?
Also noticed that MY12 D4 does not have all TV antennas connected. One of the window antennas is not connected. Should have four connected but only three of the antennas are connected. TV appears to be better in MY12 than MY10.

Hi Wiggs,
Correct me if I am wrong but coming out of the Dabs unit you have two Antenna leads. One as you state goes to the Fin on the roof via a pink fakra connector. The other antenna lead goes across the roof to the passenger’s side rear window and connects to the aerial via a small red coloured amp in the window located between the two TV antennas. At least that how I connected it in MY10 car.
Have I got this wrong?

Yes I do have timed climate. I need to install my Telestart module and aerial then activate with MSV2 once Colin has updated the software.
That is my next job.

Hi,
this is very interesting for me. I have the US LR4 with a sirius radio with the wrong frequencies. Land Rover stated that I have to change the reciever - so the dealer and I found only the DAB that is different. It is located in the right side in the booth (LHD car). But the US car has TWO modules for the radio...
If I connect the two antennas to the DAB the faultmate gives me antenna failures as error.
Is there an antenna cable for "conventional" radio from the front audio module to the rear antenna in the window?
Can anybody give me detailed information about all radio modules and antenna connectors and cables from the "normal" european cars? Probably with photos of modules and amps?
I invested now 700 € for the DAB - until now for nothing...
Would be great if I could get some hints.
Greetings
