Know what you mean, but I think it is one of these useless items that you miss rather than necessary items you NEED. It is an Auto after all - why worry about which gear you are in?

You don't have the 'sun' in Scotland 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Can't be doing with those dials, always thought the Taurag was nicer inside and out than sister Cayenne.
IMO disco dials are far nicer, however think the 07 dial graphics are not as nice as the previous one's.
Think the Disco center console could be more interesting than the slab of hard plastic that it currently is. RRS better, but i guess thay had to make disco more low rent to justify the more for less RRS.
By the way glad you prefer the disco, gives me ammo against Cayenne driving mate.
Turbo s cayenne would be a bit different I guess.

Yea, the Cayenne Turbo S is a monster. The Porsche dealer took me out in one...........Wow!
However, the Cayenne S (4.5 V8 ) I had was still very powerful, but the Cayenne (V6) is not

Had the 'pleasure' to be ferried to a do in Toerag a few months ago. The V10 TDi. At night, everything is backlit in red. It's like being on Mars!No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

Had an S reg Passat and was amazed when we first drove it at night (after about a week) with the blue interior lighting. Still like the VW blue.

The new Ford Mustang has dash lighting that can be changed to any colour. Not sure why it's not offered on more vehicles. Disco 5 HSE Lux

I too would find this useful, the problem I have with the Auto Box is that when you push the lever over into Sport mode you don't know what gear you are in, if you then decide to use the semi-auto command shift you can gear down too soon when using engine braking. I would like to know before I hit the lever + or -2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
