Tail lights D4 ( will they fit D3 )
Can you physically fit the Tail lights for D4 into a D3
The body shape appears to be the same . I understand the wiring loom ( plugs ) are likley to be different , but a good auto electrician can fix that.

Yes they fit no problem ... And the connector is the same
You will need to fit a resistor otherwise the indicator on the dash board flashes extra fast ( thinks there is a bulb out due to low current of the LEDs )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Yep fit straight on,

although unless you buy already modded ones you'll need to add resistors otherwise the internal indicator ticks too fast, check out the wiki page it shows how to:-.This is only needed if it annoys you the external/light flashes at the correct speed!!

Thanks for that It was a quick stop outside my house, I returned home to find the gas board dug a bloody hole right in the middle of my parking bay! Wouldn't mind but it wasn't an emergency on there part and NO notice given to us by the council advising of the works! Mad me angry especially when they charge me £115 a year for a bloody parking permit

Did mine, without resistors, took me 20 mins.
Then drove around without resistors for 2 weeks, until the faster flashing noise drove me mad!!
Now driving with resistors thank god

Hello, can anyone post where I can buy the resistors and how I should install them. I am going to buy a set of D4 LED lights next week. I am pretty handy but I need the info. Cheers.
