Roof Tent Choices?
I am considering a Roof Tent for my new project having recently sold the Campervan. I thought it would be good for future offroading expeditions and the odd weekend away with the boys in Wales etc.
What choices do I have and do they fit direct to the roof/rails or via a certain type of roof rack?
Any help would be appreciated.

have you looked at these?
Looks like a good idea apart from being potential Lion Food on an expedition

Don't worry, no lions in Wales, just a lot of sheep. They are a lot trickier to get in a roof tent so I'm told. Dec 04 TDV6 HSE in Tonga green with Alpaca interior.

Bringing it back On Topic.
I have a Howling Moon 1.4m tourer. It was 1 of the first in the country after a design change. Or so I'm told. I can easily erect/collapse it on my own in less than 5mins either way. I also have the annex that goes underneath to give you a dry room to get changed in rather than the tent itself. Plus I have a brand new spare annex if someone requires it.
As for cost I can't remember as SWMBO deals with all that. I purchased a Patriot rack to mount it on. There are other options but I like strong and sturdy.
Mine has done various camping weekends in the UK and Wales, a 2 week trip to Morroco and more recently a 2 week trip around Europe via Croatia. No leaks and all worked as it should. Very happy with my purchaseHONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE
