Strange rumble from front end when lifting off throttle

Hello all

Newbie...so treat me gently

I have a D3 diesel auto which has a 'strange' rumble from the front when I lift off the throttle around 50 mph....almost feels like unbalanced wheel...but weird as it does not happen if

a) I lift off throttle above 60 mph

or

b) I slightly feather the throttle after I lift off then lift off again

I suspect a front diff issue....I had both wheel bearings changed and no better.....also changed transfer box oil....havent done diff oil yet....but could do with some sound advice please

many thanks

Welcome
Don't want to alarm you but sounds exactly like my car when the front diff was on the way out.....but as you said, change the oil first and see what happens.... Thumbs Up
