Depends, whens the last time you changed the air filter? I change it every 15k and it makes considerable difference, so it may be just that your engine can breath again with a fresh filter in place.

What ever they did should be on the invoice.
Post the work items/invoice on here so we can go through them.
If that doesn't work, give them a call and ask. I'm curious now too!
Maybe they've got a special LR potion that they're not telling us

They are my local dealer as well. Bloke on service desk is always helpful. Only downside is the coffee cups are to small. At least at Yeovil you can help yourself HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE
They shall not grow old as those of us left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condem. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

Nope. Proper manual gearbox. Nothing on the invoice other than the standard stuff.
It still drives amazingly well. The only thing i can think of is possible software upgrade. Whatever they've done its brilliant and I'm very happy. It feels like it did when i had run it in after I first bought it.

That's what i thought, but it just confirmed my thoughts even more that I should keep the D3 and wait until either the new FFRR or D5 before replacing it. Mine runs so well and does exactly what i want it to do that I can't bring my self to buy a D4.
