I've had my D3 for nearly 4 years now, and from day one of owning it I found that if you left foot braked whilst still on the accelerator, it threw up an error message on the dash
Today I left foot braked with the accelerator at the same time, but got nothing? I can now press both at the same time with no error?
Now the question, does the accelerator pedal run any kind of switch and can this go faulty? I have fault that my local indy cant find on the D3 where it has a really sensitive throttle and struggles producing power when trying to accelerate

I assume that the accelerator works on a fly by wore system?
Is there anyway of testing the output signal from the accelerator to make sure thats correct?

If you are an RAC member call them out (make up a story regarding limp home mode if you have too) then get them to check the throttle perameters
They have the kit to do it.
And it'll be free 57 RRS TDV8

I'm with Greenflag, and I think they just use local monkeys to come out
