went to the dealer for its first service (5000km) and they are selling "latest D4" but does not have new 8 speed gearbox so maybe they don't plan to sell in this market too (just like Oz) for a while at least.
I also popped into the workshop to check the oil they are using (untrusting as I am) and they are using the correct type but not from a big 204ltr drum but from 1ltr containers...odd..and the first service cost 130quid
also saw the new XKRS nice  me likey, and we have a spare parking space said the wife heart/head/heart/head/heart ...but not for the roads here and not for official listing, the sale of 2.518 million yuan
that's a quarter million quid in real money..ouch. head wins It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
