Started my morning commute and noticed the world was much quiter - then realised my radio wasn't working.
To be precise, the screen was on, the radio tuned but no sound was coming out of the speakers. I tried a few things:
1. Turning up the volume !
2. Turning the car off, letting it 'sleep' and turning it on again
3. Making a phone call - interestingly I could make the call but had not sound from the speakers at any point. The microphoen is working as I was able to leave myself a voicemail. I just could hear anything
4. No sound on satnav either
The beeping when I use the screen still works but I don't think that is coming from the speakers.
Any ideas of what I can do before calling the stealership?

I had this happen a couple of times on my D3 - after the car wash shop managed to spray water over electrical connectors under the bonnet. The fix was to do a hard reset. Do a search for "hard reset" for the procedure.
