LOwered Suspension, constant yellow light?

Morning all, have done a search that returned 198 pages so thought I'd consult directly on this.
I drove off from Eurotunnel last night without releasing the handbrake and noticed that the yellow suspension light had come on, swmbo checked it out in the manual and it said okay to drive home although suspension is lowered, I tried stopping letting her go to sleep and restarting to no avail, and could get no response when trying to raise or lower her. this was fine on the motorway but a rough ride over London speedbumps.
I have taken her for a spin this morning and all seems well again is this a precursor to more trouble, should I call WD now Whistle

Doesn't look promising. Sounds similar to what I had last summer, which turned out to be the precursor to requiring a new compressor within about a week...

This shouldn't really have made any difference, hand brake release in an Automatic is............well automatic.

A bit of coincidence possibly, like TS said look elsewhere.

Just in case you decide to check it out ...............................

Air Supply Unit Relay
The air supply unit relay is located in the battery junction box in the engine compartment. The relay is connected directly to the battery via fusible link 10E (60A). The relay coil is connected to and controlled by the air suspension control module. The relay is used by the air suspension control module to control the operation of the compressor.

When air supply unit operation is required, the air suspension control module supplies power and ground for the relay coil which energizes, closing the relay contacts. This allows battery voltage via the fusible link to pass through the relay and operate the air supply unit electric motor and the compressor.

The battery voltage is also passed from the relay, via a splice joint in the harness, to the air suspension control module and is used as a signal that the relay is operating.

I've put the full Dynamic Suspension write-up here http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...on%7E0.pdf

Enjoy Thumbs Up

I've posted my version elsewhere... Executive abstract: started with parking on sandy patch and lowering.. Came back : yellow light on. Drove it back to hotel. Checked one hour later : no light, so raised it. Since then 22/7 ; everyday/time the light comes on after a few minutes, and is off when restarted an hour later... Only once it stayed off for almost the whole day, after parking on a sandy patch, nose a bit pointing uphill. when the light is off can raise/lower... Whistle Whistle

Will have it checked with next service... Idea

You probably ruled this out but my experience with lowered suspension went accompanied by 3 amber lights on the dash. Turned out to be the brake light switch. New switch fitted and all ended well.

Wiljo, there are many posts on this subject. But I only have ONE amber light ; always suspension. And if I park it lowered & drive off, its frozen in that position... If it's the brakelight switch, I expect an influence of if one breaks or not... that's not the case. There is no real trigger to set it off. Probably they can read it from the OBD... Thanks anyway, Dan Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Embarassed as I said you probably ruled it out already.
The influence would be about 10 times braking before it goes into limp mode. It took me a while to find that about because 10 brakings can mean end of the street or 20 kms away Rolling Eyes

Good luck finding the problem and please post when found Thumbs Up
