Looks neat ..but I'd like to see a profile shot from the drivers head position ..it looks as though some of the screen might be obscured by the dash below the vents 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

No, it is the real thing, we built it as a concept vehicle and the whole screen is visible. We currently use the iPAD2 as a wireless link to the mobile computer in the rear floor of the vehicle, it is basically a touchscreen inteface to all our software.
We have traditionally used our own very expensive high bright touchscreen in the past but were impressed by the readability in sunlight and the viewing angles offered by the relatively inexpensive iPAD2 (to us at least).2010 DISCOVERY 4 XS

Sorry I should have said, we design and manufacture control equipment and software to integrate all the functions onto one computer for the "blue light" services, this does NOT include speed enforcement I hasten to add...2010 DISCOVERY 4 XS

What happened to the small info screen? Have you tucked it away somewhere else or removed it completely? If the latter, did it cause any problems?
Nice concept Maybe a bit too "cut and shut" for private cars, but looks spot on for what you need it for. The side panel "blanks" could be useful for mounting switches etc 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

We just removed it completely, on the GS there is nothing on the screen or top switch panel of any interest to the Police anyway, we supply all the phone and 3G connectivity through our software which also includes a sat nav program.2010 DISCOVERY 4 XS
