I took the Grabbers off in the summer to put the normal M&S tyres back on. Now we are heading to winter I am thinking about putting the AT2s back on. I notice however that the wall of one or two tyres is quite worn and much of the lettering has gone. I assume this is from rubbing the kerb during parking. Does anyone know if the walls on AT2's are considered a weak point or if some wear is to be expected/ok?
thanks

Sidewalls on AT2s is better than OEM Wranglers but not a light truck tyre. Check for cuts in the sidewall though. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Several members of this forum, have had "issues" with GG AT2 side walls. It's well documented if you search this section of the forum. Iirc, some of the problems were encountered in Morocco, so that might help your search.

If you drive aggressivly off road with any tyre you risk sidewall damage, kerbs, flints and pot holes etc don't like tyres.
Some tyres have stronger sidewalls than others, drive to the strength and ability of your choice of tyre.
If you "touch park" you will mark up the sidewalls, get them checked by a good tyre shop.
We have not seen any more damage to General AT2 or AT than any other tyre makes.
