Parking Sensors and Radio/Seatbelt Warning
I have noticed that when reversing it is often hard to hear that the sensors are beeping when you have the radio on and I think also when the seatbelt warning is bonging.
I mentioned it to the garage and they said that this has been addressed on the new models (I have a 2010 Disco 4 HSE). They seemed to suggest there was an update available. Can anyone confirm?
There has always been a big knob on the left hand side of the radio - pressing this causes it to fall silent.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Thanks - helpful.... I don't actually have the radio that loud. And on my other and previous cars the beeps were always audible over other warnings, but then they are all BMW's... Also noticed the same with the indicators when the seatbelt warning is on the go.
I just want to know if this "update" is for real or not?

How loud is your indicator 'click'?
Seam to remember the noises come from one little speaker and a couple of people have replaced them when it has failed,
The sensor sound is fairly quiet though.
Edit: Was thinking D3, not D4 sorry

I get the impression that the car can only make one sound at a time, and there is obviously a priority - which in my opinion is wrong.
What is strange is the way that the radio output moves to the back of the car when the Sat Nav has something to say, would have though it would be the same for the warnings.
