What options do I have for 20" D4 HSE wheels

Hi,

I have done a bit of searching around and am struggling to find something to replace my Scorpions when they need replacing. I was looking for and ATR kind of tyre, and it doesn't look like they do the Pirelli ATR in 20" so what are my options?

Well I am still a bit lost, because I cant find an exact 255/50/20 Tyre in the Cooper or the GG AT Range, does this mean I have to use something slightly different and the circumference of the wheel changes?

I'd ditch the 255/50's in favour of the 275/45x20's. I think these have a better load rating as well.

Totally agree, been the first time runner of these tyres in the UK [even before launch].
Now on third set.
Brilliant all round chunky tyre with no extra road noise.

Alastaid, if you want to see them in the flesh give me a shout, I'm just north of York.

Thumbs Up

Thanks all for the comments, looks like the Zeons are the way to go, is there no downside to changing the tyre size from OEM, looking at it, the rolling circumference changes by 3mm, does this mean the speedo under or overreads, or because we never check our pressures enough rolling circumference varies by more than 3mm normally so you never notice?

Also can someone confirm there is no rubbing lock to lock with this tyre on a D4

Thanks again, really appreciate the help.

Rgds

You might want to inform your insurance co. if you fit a non oem tyre size. Don't want to be a Victor Meldrew Victor Meldrew but some companies will not cover you if you do not have the oem sizes etc.
