Side Steps - How Hard To Fit?

We think that we need to install the side steps. Really did not want to but the car's just a bit high to step up and down without feeling like you are scraping over the leather.

Can anyone advise on how hard these actually are to fit yourself?

Thanks

TJ

Embarassed It was hard to fit , just lengthy in the process of actually cutting and installing , it's not easy , and I'm pretty handy , but when ya done you can say , I did that , cheap , it's cutting the bits out of the plastic was a Censored To do even with a jigsaw , and you dooo need them , all that sliding in and out , does the leather in .
2008 ,hse, it does what it says .

they also fend off supermarket trolleys from bashing the doors, and provide something to walk along when you end up parked next to one of these BMW thinggies with the design flaw that stops them being parked neatly.

BMW used to offer a "superiority complex" as an optional extra on its top models......now I believe it comes as standard on all models.... Laughing
