Discovery 4 Landmark edition stolen last night |
|
My brand new pride and joy was stolen from my drive last night, Nottingham. Fuji White, black mirrors and grille, diamond polished alloys and stainless side tubes. If anyone sees it around please let me know. Reg is FL11 KZD. Other distinguishing feateres are the rear seat entertainment screens, in the matching black leather with white stitching. Absolutely gutted! Only saving grace is my 3 children are ok, and that they left all the other valuables lying around, and my XK convertible. B*stards.

Like the others very sorry for your loss. Being a police officer its something I've seen more and more often, these people are not breaking into the house for any other reason than to get to the car keys. Manufacturers have done as instructed and made cars more difficult to break into and steal the result being the thief needs the keys! They are not after money or valuables, I am however very surprised they only took your Disco if your XK was also sat outside and the keys easy to find.

Sorry to hear that, it's terrible when something has been taken away from you.
Insurance companies will soon be asking for car keys to be locked in one of those small safes and bolted down to the floor soon.

Thanks for your kind words folks. Appreciate it. Doesnt seem fair that the nice things you works so bloody hard for get taken like this. Makes you think long and hard about staying in this country, a country I love (loved), having nice cars, houses, stuff. only thing that matters is your loved ones really. Absolutely gutted about the car, but a lump of metal she was. Family are safe. Please check your cars are locked, doors secure, alarms are on and eindows closed and locked tonight people. And do me a favour and put your disco keys in a drawer out of sight. this feeling is not one I would want others to experience.
