Proposed registration/sign up changes
Hi guys, I'm proposing some changes to the events/group buy sign-up system to make it fit better with what we use it for.
The main change is that the option to confirm your registration will be removed, there will only be a register option.
The confirmation (if required) can then be done by the sign up creator, so they have more control over the list and can then confirm payment/details received, etc with a graphical tick. This confirmation can also be undone for any signed up user. Under the current system only the signed up member can confirm their registration, which in many cases doesn't work brilliantly.
Visually the new look from the a signee's point of view would be (register button is locked out after registration):
For the topic starter (sign up creator) the form would look this this with a tick box to confirm registrations:
Would appreciate your comments and ideas before this goes "live"

Sounds good - allows nicely for a two part transaction (1 pays, the other receives) to be recorded nicely Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

JMC's a bit quiet on this, hope the last Group Buy hasn't put him off of future ones.
