Radio steeling wheel buttons...part number for '07
Hi there,
I'm hoping to retro-fit the steeling wheel mounted radio buttons to my '07 when it arrives in January.
However, the part discussed on this forum XPD-500-500-WVH is I believe for the 05-06 models. As the shade of the chrome effect on the button has now changed slightly can anyone tell me the correct part# to use for an '07?
Thanks'11 SDV6 Discovery 4

The only buttons which are different on my 07 Model are the horn pushes. The stereo controls etc haven't changed.

Thats right - if I order the above part# I will have different shades of chrome/steel on the cruise (original) and radio (retro-fit) buttons - not what I'm after!!!! Will try a dealer..........'11 SDV6 Discovery 4

kev,
even though there's only one P/N for the switch module at the moment, the colour of the horn button was the old colour when I took the module out of the box, but this is easily swapped over from the original to the new module. Only a few philips head screws. By the time you order yours it might be updated with a P/N for the 07 colour.
If i were you I'd ask the dealer to fit at delivery. Its a 10 min job. The module cost €61 after VAT2007 MY Irish spec S+ TDV6

Thanks Baldrick!
btw: How is your '07 going now - has the dealer any idea on the 4 second delay you reported after putting your foot down on the accelerator?'11 SDV6 Discovery 4

Have to go up and drive another one to compare it. Could be my technique. Others have commented that putting foot to floor doesn't work. Need to feed it in initially. Goes like when it goes.
