Wiring +ve Igg & Earth

Hi

I have just fiited a Parrot MKI9200 and need to how/which colour wire and were to get them from for;

constant 12v supply
Iggnition 12v
and earth

Also has others found that there isnt much room at the back of the stereo for all the wires etc and were have peaple located their wires and the Blue parrot box.

I have located the blue box in the left hand channel at the side of the radio and the wires stuffed down the right hand side.

is there a neater was as it looks quite untidy with wires everywhere.

Finland 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Buckingham BlueDiscovery 3

I put the blue box behind the lower glove box. Also bought a cable harness from eBay connecting the blue box direct to the amplifier which is located under the front seat, so did not need to touch the audio head unit at all. Bought from the same eBay source also a small box (now located under the seat next to amp) which detects from the normal live 12V line if ignition is on or off, and provides the switched 12V accordingly. This cost some money, but made the installation very easy as then did not need to source the permanent/switched power line from anywhere nor to touch the head unit. The biggest pain then was to route the sufficiently thick cable between the amplifier and the glove box, as well as the mic cable -- but that was quite straightforward still.

Thanks , I have the Base line audio so only needed ISO cable 082, wheres the best place for the connections mentioned

Hi Jsui,

Can I ask you exactly what cable you bought on ebay (maybe the item number, or seller), so I can try to track one down?
I have the HK with the 13 speakers and I was also looking for a "simple" installation, withouth touching behind the dash.

Where did you route the cable exactly?
Would it be too much to ask for a few photos?
