Hi Everyone,
Can anyone recommend where abouts I can pick up a "Speed Input'' wire on a TDV6 S.
I take delivery of my vehicle later this week and wish to transfer a Pioneer navigation system I have taken out of my old vehicle.
Thanks for any help.

Errr,,
what sort of input? digital, analogue?
Have you asked Pioneer or LR tech
It may be possible to take a supply from the speedo but I wouldn't do it - if you're intent on getting it to work, I would strongly suggest some form of opto - isolator so as not to present any spurious signals to the vehicle's data bus remember speed info is used by several systems, airbags, traction control & ABS are just a few of them!!
Cheers,

There already must exist a "Speed input" signal that the Land Rover Navigation system uses.
My previous car was a RR TD6, all I had to do was take that input from the original Navigation loom, which I identified from my Rave CD, but not having any wiring diagrams for a Disco 3 I am lost.

I think once the Rave CD for D3 hits the streets a lot of questions may be answered.

Thanks everyone,
I got hold of a LR Nav system wiring diagram and found the information I was looking for.
