Wanted - Tripod BBQ
I know a couple got sold on so just testing the water to see if they're anymore...
I'm after a another couple of the tripod BBQs for our local scouts. Amazon do have them now for GBP26 but hoping not no have so spend 50 of the scouts fund raised pounds...!!
Anyone got one kicking around they no longer use?

Geoff,
Thanks for the consideration (and dont want to sound ungrateful) but I fear by the time we have postage factored in might be just as well at Amazon with its free delivery.
Was hoping that someone would look kindly on the scouts (being a charity and all that) and make a blinding offer (donation even) if its just littering their garage...
Cheers again
John

John your gang won't go wrong with one of those BBQs, they are great, after cooking just put logs on for an off ground camp fire, then they clean up like new again.

Not wanting to hijack the post however,
I have been looking for a solid tripod BBQ from somewhere ?
I'm not sure if it was trek overland ? The actual fire pan was suspended from somewhere half way up the legs by chains and the griddle thing was suspended from the top via a chain,
Does any one know where I can get one from ?
ThanksOnly dead fish go with the Flow !

Biskit,
I bought one of the originals from the Group Buy after seeing Dunc's (I think) at the family camping. You're right they are great. Have only used mine on an open fire ie without the lower basket and it cooks beautifully. Mine has now been commandeared by the scouts for camp this summer but we need another couple as there are nearly 30 of us.
Chalky,
See the Amazon link in my original post. These are the ones Bodsy got as the group buy and certainly sturdy enough IMO. I'm sure RLDs would be a notch above though...
Geoff,
Dave is on the case and should be contacting you re collection

Err yup , i saw uncle rays a couple of years ago and decided I wanted one, it is very robust and solid, had it made for me from drawings, it breaks down and fits in the back of the defener for camping etc.
