Kwik fit delivering exhausts to LR Dealer

Errrrr.....should I be worried ?

I was at my local LR dealer the other day picking up some parts. As i was leaving I noticed a great big Kwik Fit truck delivering exhausts to them. Now, maybe it was all innocent but I for one would be mightily P****d off if I took my disco to them thinking I was getting a genuine manufacturers exhaust (and paying the premium ££££ for !!!!) ...when actually it was a kwik fit cheapo special which I could have gone direct to them for and paid half the price. Big Cry Big Cry

Dont get me wrong I know full well LR subcontract the manufacturing of their exhausts - but puhlease......not kwifit!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Thats funny, because I was driving past the VW dealer in Stockport today, and they had a huge banner draped across the front of their building stating "We will beat any price offered by Kwik Fit"

Parked right underneath the banner was a Kwik Fit van Confused

So maybe Kwik Fit are actually buying their exhausts from Land Rover ?

Could also be a logistics issue as van loads of exhaust are considered ugly cargo by mainstream hauliers. All things shipping, storage, transport. UK and worldwide.

Maybe both the Kwik-Fit and Land Rover exhausts are made by the same Korean supplier and there is a LR signwritten van somewhere else doing the same thing, with both actually belonging to the Lung Dung Manufacturing Conglomerate, or similar.

Were both KF and LR not at one time owned by Ford? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
