Adding LAND ROVER decals to the rear of the D3/LR3
Based on an excellent idea I saw on this forum earlier, I went ahead and installed the hood (bonnet) decals to the rear of my LR3. The brief how to and photos are on my website: http://blog.nextstepdesigns.com/?p=33

Looks smart. I have to say the white 'stormtrooper' look is very 8) . Makes me tempted to try white next time!
One question - what's the blue ball for? Could understand if it was on the end of the aerial, but it appears to be quite low down. Disco 5 HSE Lux

From expericence, the ball keeps the antenna (aerial) from hitting the car. Keeping it low keep the antenna from swinging too much but still provides protection.

I noticed that your LAND ROVER badge has different color than the LR3 badge..

Yeah, I hadn't realized that amoung the MANY custom painted bits on my truck, that the LR3 moniker was one of them, until after I pressed home the first few letters.
Oh well, the rear of the truck is usually pretty dirty anyway
Thanks for the idea!

I also changed my oval land rover badge with the black and silver. It costs me less than 15$ for two pieces, it will look nice on your white LR3 with the new decals 8)'05 LR3 HSE V8 - Adriatic Blue - Larini Exhaust System - Lamp Guards - Dual battery system - Hidden 12k winch - Rasta Sump Guard
