Towing a trailer soon
I'll be towing a 6x12' twin axle trailer next Tueday 1500 miles, through one mountain range and countless hills. I'm guessing the weight will be well under 3000lbs, so pretty light. Is their anything I should be aware of? I know I need to hook up in normal height....17 Discovery 5 HSE Si6, Fuji White on brown | 07 LR3 SE 4.4 Java Black on Alpaca

Hi CMG,
I don't anticipate you having any problems. If there is a potential problem, it may be running the vehicle at too high a gear on long hills. This can load the transmission, possibly causing it to overheat.
I recommend that you shift gears "manually" to avoid this.

Thanks. I'll also use the Sport mode to hold the gears longer too. 17 Discovery 5 HSE Si6, Fuji White on brown | 07 LR3 SE 4.4 Java Black on Alpaca
